today is....  october twentyseventh....

today...  eye need the....  ghosts that we knew....

eye need....  my pain to be washed out in the rain....  

the broken glass....  saw the blood run from my vein....

but....

you saw no fault....  no cracks in my heart....

eye need you to see my hope torn apart....

eye need....  you to give me your hope....  in the darkness....  so eye can see the light....

eye need to close my eyes....  to my recent disgrace....

eye need my children to come....  eye need them to hear me roar....

they gave me such a fright....

eye need the ghosts that we knew....  to flicker from view....  so eye can live a long life.... 

just promise me....  we will be alright....

hold me still.....  bury my heart....  on the hill....
